Garage door opener replacement

When an opener's logic board or motor goes, replacing it usually costs less than repairing it and gets you a quieter, Wi-Fi-connected unit with battery backup. We bring the opener with us, install it, remove the old one, program your remotes and keypad, and test the safety reverse before we leave.

Questions

Chain or belt drive?

Chain drives are the budget option and perfectly reliable. Belt drives are much quieter — the right choice if there's a bedroom or living space above or beside the garage. Wall-mount (jackshaft) openers free up ceiling space and are the quietest of all.

Will my existing remotes work?

Usually not — remotes are brand- and generation-specific. Every opener we install includes two new remotes and we program your car's built-in HomeLink buttons at no extra charge.

How long does installation take?

60–90 minutes for a straightforward swap, including removal of the old unit.
